Muzzy
sponsored driver Jon Crowley Takes Fallon 250 Victory - 7/26/2010
|

Powered by a Muzzy 840cc
Engine, Jon Crowley drove his Monster
Energy Kawasaki Teryx to a decisive victory at the fifth round
of the Valley Off Road Racing Association (VORRA) series in
Fallon,
Nev.
Extremely hot temperatures put the Teryx to the test and
showed the extreme durability of the Muzzy 840 kit. "The
key to our win at the Fallon night race was the power and reliability
of our Muzzys built 840cc Teryx v-twin engine," said Crowley. "We
were first off the line, and steadily increased our lead for
five laps." Crowley took over the lead and ended the race
40 seconds ahead of second place.

| Team Muzzys/Kawasaki Set For Battle in Las Vegas, NV |
Robert "Bobby" VanBeekum
Las Vegas, NV (5/20/10) - The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series
(LOORRS) returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) in Las Vegas,
NV for rounds 5 & 6 on May 22nd and 23rd 2010. Team Muzzys/Kawasaki
driver Robert "Bobby" VanBeekum is ready to take his
place at the top of the podium in the Unlimited UTV class at
LOORRS and ready to position himself for a championship run.
VanBeekum in his Muzzys/Kawasaki Teryx is currently 3rd in points
in the Unlimited UTV division, behind only RJ Anderson and reigning
Unlimited UTV Champion Chad George. Only 9 points separate VanBeekum
from the first place Anderson. This means that Bobby VanBeekum
can put his Muzzys/Kawasaki Teryx on top of the point's standings
with a solid performance in Las Vegas.
After LOORRS rounds 3 & 4 Bobby and the teams "horsepower
prospector" Rob Muzzy of Muzzys Performance, set out to improve
the power and performance of their 800cc Muzzys/Kawasaki V-Twin
Teryx engine. The team headed to Rob Muzzy's home of Bend, OR where
the Muzzys Performance team began work on a new port design, new
throttle body set up, and new cams. The goal for the team was to
increase the top end of an already fast UTV while increasing the
strength and reliability. Las Vegas will be the testing ground
for the month of hard work put into the Muzzys/Kawasaki Teryx.
With a little bit of luck and a lot of hard racing VanBeekum and
his team will accomplish their goal of obtaining the points lead
heading into rounds 7 & 8.
Bobby VanBeekum would like to thank his 2010 team sponsors: Muzzys
Performance, Kawasaki Motor Corp., Xtreme Machine & Fabrication
(XMF), Rhino Parts & Performance, UTVUnderground.com, Walker
Evans Racing, BS Sand Seats, Gear One, EPI, and R&R Steel.

| Team Muzzys/Kawasaki Ready to Surprise in Surprise! |
Surprise,
AZ (4/15/10) – Team Muzzys/Kawasaki is heading
into Rounds 3&4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series with
a new car and a new hope of getting their first win of the 2010
LOORRS short course racing season. After battling motor gremlins
in both Robert Vanbeekum and Dan Kelly’s Muzzys/Kawasaki
Teryx’s in rounds 1&2 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway the
team headed back to Muzzys/Kawasaki headquarters with some added
motivation to get the Teryx’s running in top condition
and ready for battle in Surprise.
Team Muzzys/Kawasaki is looking forward to improving their
performance this weekend at Speedworld. They learned
a lot from their debut
race at Las Vegas and have been working tirelessly on making
improvements and testing. Muzzys/Kawasaki is also thrilled
about the introduction
of VanBeekum’s brand new XMF (www.XtremeMF.com) Kawasaki
Teryx which will be unveiled this weekend at rounds 3&4.
VanBeekum and XMF have built another short course masterpiece
and are thrilled
to get it out on the track!
“
Bronco” Dan Kelly’s appearance at rounds 3&4
is still up in the air at this point. Dan was carted off
the track
mid race during the rd 2 main in Las Vegas after going extremely
big off of the center table top. Dan flat landed his SR1
and injured his back forcing him to pull off in pain. Knowing
Bronco
Dan he
will have to be restrained to not get suited up to compete
this weekend. We will keep our fingers crossed and hope to
see Bronco
Dan healthy and back out on the track this weekend in his
Muzzys/Kawasaki Teryx.
